Defining Moment is an attempt by El Rehema to paint a vivid image of the human experience in the early 21st century. Drawing from his experience of the Congo wars as a young boy and his concerns for his beloved country of origin at a 'defining moment' of its history, El Rehema uses the track 'C.O.N.G.O' to lament over the sufferings of the Congolese people.

Moving on to another canvas, 'Room to Breath' portrays a human trafficker caught in his act and confessing his sins with the voice of his victim almost forgotten but raised in the last verse.

'Unveiling History' personifies history as a girl who's recognised a man as her bearer but the man is in a dilemma. 'Broken Love' paints an image of a young girl who's fallen pregnant unwillingly seeking solace in her friend.

Defining Moment is filled with these touching moral dilemmas and the universal emotions of hardship, suffering, love, triumph, sorrow we can all relate to, and the quest for spirituality we long for.

After studying the art of hip hop production and rapping for over 5 years, El Rehema brings his A game to this EP lyrically as well as production wise. His friend Ashley Onitiri produced 'The Nature of Man' and 'Soldier' on the EP and they're already working on El Rehema's next project.
